No funtional issues - A few errors in the Asterisk log files

Hi everyone, I installed the FreePBX beta last week and have encountered no issues testing on my home system. This system is lightly loaded however I have provisioned several trunks to other systems, new extensions, queues and ring groups without any issues. The upgrades are very tangible and the entire team deserves tremendous accolades.

This machine started off life (in a universe far far away) as a trix 2.2 machine. The Asterisk 1.2 is custom and has many patches applied to it. I also have tested a bunch of custom code in extensions_custom over the last year. FreePBX has never been touched by the trix repos. I used the standard FreePBX tool to go from FreePBX 2.4 to 2.5.

I was looking at the logs and noticed the following errors upon 'applying changes. None of these effect functionality, below is the log and my notes:

  1. Something must not be populated in the mysql config, however the defaults seem to be working.
  2. "_." syntax warning - this may be a vestige of my upgrade path....Seems worth understanding
  3. Include warnings - This does not seem to effect operation, again same note as above
  4. I fixed my CODEC syntax
  5. Fixed my trunk ACL
  6. CDR custom error is not effecting my raw or SQL CDR's
    [/ist]

    Update - Thought this might be related to old amportal....Tried to install the new as described online and could not find it in the repo....Here is a log to that:

the include warnings would always have been there since FreePBX includes a lot of contexts that don't really exist.
codec warning, I think in 1.4 we may omit 'allow=' and 'disallow=' and maybe should do the same in 1.2, I would have to check.

as far as trying to get amportal, not sure what you were trying to get.

Regarding the AMPORTAL, it did not make sense to me either, I was following these instructions. I assumed it downloaded a newer version of the FreePBX control script.

But the only reason you would ever need that is if you were running an early beta release of 2.3 and eventually upgraded with the upgrade module. If you upgraded from 2.2, you would have had to use the tarball so this would not have been necessary.
