Cannot Browse to freepbx installer

I am following the Manual Install instructions for installing freepbx with freeswitch on my Centos machine. I got to step 7. "Browse to http://yourserver/your/web/directory/freepbx/", but my browser says: "Firefox cannot establish a connection to the server at jerryr-centos44.greyhawk.tonecommander.com.

Does anyone know why I could get this error? I checked out freepbx into the folder /home/jerry/downloads/freepbx/freepbx-v3/, so I am using the following literal browser address:

http://jerryr-centos44.greyhawk.tonecommander.com/home/jerryr/downloads/...
I would appreciate any help.

You should be getting a 404 page can not be found, not cannot establish a connection to the server. It sounds like your Apache installation is broken. Can you get to other URLs on the same server?

/var/www/html/freepbx-v3/ is typical for a CentOS server.
