Hi I have asterisk version 1.8.7.I have g729 codec installed and core
show translation in cli shows g729 codec active.But when i dial it
gives me this.Please assist with solution.

Have you purchased the G729 license from digium.com

No mate, I am not purchased it from digium.com. I have download it from the Asterisk site and simply install it.
You may have noted this at the top of the page:
That is not an Asterisk site, it's a hacker site in Latvia.
You probably downloaded the wrong version.
Ok well its a licensed paid codec so you need to purchase the license and activate it from digium.com
