Hey folks,
FreePBX 2.10
Asterisk 1.8.12.2
I've got a queue going and would really love to disable "Thank you for your patience". Anyone know how to do this?
I did a bit of research and found that you could remove it from the database from the "queues_detail" table and deleting the "queue-thankyou" entry.
So I tried that but Allison still thanks's people for their patience.
I tried both commenting out and removing "queue-thankyou=queue-thankyou" in queues_additional.conf. that also hasn't worked.
I also tried adding "queue-thankyou=no" to queues_additional.conf, queues_general_additional.conf,queues_custom_general.conf and queues_custom.conf.
Still, Allison is thanking callers for their patience. If anyone can lead me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated.
I'm now going to rename the sound files as a temporary fix.
Thanks,
Chris
How do you have caller position announcements set?

Hi Bill,
I have both caller position options turned off. Thought for sure when I did that that the thank you for waiting would also be out of the loop.
I did manage to get around it though my renaming the sound files.
Thanks,
Chris
I am also having this issue, would be interested to know how to resolve.
Set the Caller Position Announcements Frequency = 0 Seconds in the QUEUE
