.wav files we did not expect...

In reviewing our recording archives, we noticed that there are lots of .wav files in the directory that we did not expect. We have the default recoridng format set to .gsm and every queue is set to use .gsm format recording as well. We can't find anywhere that specifies .wav format, yet the files exist, such as...

/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/DOCUMENTATION-1323782992.229279.wav
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/Sales-1319137731.472139.wav
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/PIV-1317068786.54757.wav

The file names we expect are more like this:

/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/q6011-20120301-143617-1330630573.28844.gsm
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/OUT4161-20120301-092856-1330612136.21074.gsm
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/g4610-20120301-140031-1330628431.27814.gsm
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/20120301-172143-1330640494.32300.gsm

Any idea where the .wav files are coming from? (Or what questions do I need to answer in order to know this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi When playing those .wav

Hi
When playing those .wav files, what do you hear?

From that, lookout for the dialplan that's invoking it and change to Gsm i guess?

Those above look like custom diaplan stuff...
