Allerting called partys that recording is active before call is bridged?
Our company (150+ users) wants to record all calls into and out of the pbx. I am using a custom destination for the incoming call warning but I have not found a way in freepbx to play a warning message to the called party. I am considering changing the outbound dial pattern to include: Dial(A{recordingwarning}) but I am unsure where to put this that will not get overwritten. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Put your custom dial options
Put your custom dial options in the "Outbound dial rules" in the General Settings page, so that it gets used for every outbound call. WRT incoming calls: just add the message to your incoming ivr!
