Multi Companies using the same extension

Has anyone found a way of creating multi companies with FreePBX where both companies can use ext 100 for example? Is it possible with Custom Contexts?

Use 1xx for company one, 2xx for company two...

We just did a multicompany setup. Each company had their own lines. We were able to use custom contexts module to restrict access to the trunks so company 1 couldn't access company 2's lines and vice versa.

there are a lot of things that custom contexts can help you do to creation some level of separation, but there are also lots of usage modes and features that can easily bypass those so make sure you really understand what you are doing and the limitations if you are trying to put multiple companies on the same instance.
