"SIP alias" for a queue?

izrunas's picture

Is there a way to set a "SIP alias" for a queue like we can do for a normal extension?

Thanks!

SOLVED: Queue SIP Alias

izrunas's picture

I figured it out...

I added this to the end of extensions_custom.conf:

[ext-local-custom]
exten => awenq,1,Goto(from-internal,9001,1)

where "awenq" is the new alias for the queue which is reached by dialing "9001"

The 'proper' way to do this

The 'proper' way to do this in FreePBX would probably be to use a custom extension with a dial string pointing to wherever. For example

Local/exten@my-context
