Voicemail via SIP Alias?
I'm trying to create a custom extension to allow me to forward a call straight to voicemail using a sip alias for the extension. This is what I've been trying:
exten => awenv,1,Voicemail(${CHANNEL(language)}@default|u)
Where "awenv" = the custom extension being used as a custom destination
Where ${CHANNEL(language)} returns a value of "awen" at this point in the call
Where "awen" is the valid sip alias for extension 7000
But that just returns:

-- Goto (default,awenv,1)
-- Executing [awenv@default:1] VoiceMail("Zap/1-1", "awen@default|u") in new stack

-- Hungup 'Zap/1-1'
