Just wondering what that means. I assume that by VM you mean Virtual Machine (right?), in which case does Asterisk now run better on, say, VMware VMs than it did in the past?

I've tried some experimentation with Asterisk on VMware and it seems to work OK but I haven't tried any actual "real" deployments with any significant level of use.

Basically i am developing some integration between Queuemetrics and Freepbx for statics , and i am almost done except for some problems with the "h,1, hangup()" included at the very end of the context "from-internal-additional" when i call to a my pstn and i decide to hang up first.

Unsuccessfully i did a context

exten => h,1,goto(qm-queuedial,h,1)

it didn't work either so ,how can i avoid this situation?

I'm creating an IVR for my company, and in that IVR I want a function to dial a employee.
Most of the time the employee's extensions is off, so when he doesn't answer on the extensions I want to forward the call to his cellphone.

The extensions number is 1111 and when I call this extensions (from any other extension) the call forward to the cellphone number i've set up. But when I call the IVR (see example) the call drops and after a couple seconds.

Just wondering what the official policy is for supporting different versions of FreePBX? Just as an example there are tickets 6459, 6366 which fix broken dialplan. They have not yet been applied to 2.10 even though it's the current release, while 2.11 remains in beta/RC and is not fit for production use.

We are just migrating a bunch of systems over from 2.4 to 2.10 and are experiencing a few of these issues for the first time. Would be nice to avoid making our own patches after every upgrade! Previously I thought support was for current and previous versions, i.e. 2.10 and 2.9.

I am currently writing a module with FreePBX with the attempt to monitor some IVR traffic. I am able to modify the existing IVR Module code to achieve what I want (although this is not a solution I deem satisfying).

We need to rebrand all the emails that FreePBX sends out to match our corporate branding inline with some new company changes.

Doing it is fine but I'm struggling to find a list of which functions (and subsequently which files they are located in) are responsible for sending out certain emails.

More generally I'd like to read over which files and functions are responsible for certain actions.

Is there a file or data dictionary published for FreePBX that would show this?

If I may offer feedback on Trac issue 6527, which added

max-height: 425; overflow: scroll

to mainstyle.css for .menubar .ui-menu elements. This change has forced unneeded scroll bars, both horizontal and vertical, for all menu dropdowns, regardless of the size of the actual menu dropdown content. This looks fairly ugly for anyone using normal sized screens to view the admin panel.

Is there a method to inject the standard destination select boxes into a pre-existing page? I want to hook into the extension page so of course I can't use the drawselects() function that I could on a standalone page. Thanks!

I am a 70 yr old Filemaker developer, owner mastar.com 30 years.. before voip... i connected to copper.. for simple ID' connections! Since voip... i am not competing but as a stand along messaging/ outbound application.

Its particularly hard to do all, I need a voip person,
might even enhance your business, or opportunity, whatever comes.. i am not greed driven, offering to meet and talk, make Mastar complete -whole.

If I click on the frog icon on the header layout of freepbx then I am taken off of the control panel entirely. Would not a similar item that directly returns to the system status page be more useful in practice?

Related to this: would providing a configurable option so that each administrator can decide which page should be the default for their installation at login be a useful enhancement?
