the extension range associated to an admin is not correctly checked

Description

When I try to create an extension out of the extension range allowed to my admin profil, the operation aborts but some tables into the database are modified.

The extension range control should be the first operation made when an admin try to add a new extension.

can you provide more specifics of what tables / changes you are seeing being made in this mode that should not.

  • version changed from 2.2.3 to 2.3.1.
  • resolution set to fixed.

r5185 fixed in 2.3 will be out next time core modules are published. Won't fix in earlier releases.
