Description

I am surprised by the number of spelling errors in FreePBX!

To name just one example, go to the page for adding a SIP extension, and hover over CID Num Alias:

... to user for ... ... different then ... ... efffect ...

Can a native English speaker please review all the text in FreePBX?

Spelling errors like these make your product look unprofessional!

feel free to go through and supply patches or at least point out specific spelling errors and we will be very happy to fix them. Typos happen all the time, especially when someone has been working on getting some new functionality and their final touches are to get the tootips in and get finished. And the last people to pay attention to the tooltips once deployed are the developers who know exactly what things do.

So - r5169, r5170. This bug is closed.

For future typo bug reports, even more appreciated then reporting them (which is fine if that is all we get) is the proper wording that you think it should have, and even better than that is a patch file attached that just lets us apply the change, review and then check it in.

Remember - it's Open Source. For those who can contribute code and development that is great. Others contribute documentation, testing, etc. - no need to come into it with an attitude - instead put your energy into helping to make it better.

Thanks for this one error report, looking forward to some patches in the future!
