When checking for online updates, if your module version is current or newer then available online, you have no option to force download the online version.
This feature request is to add the ability to force it be downloaded and installed. There should be very few circumstance where this would occur. Furthermore, modules are never designed to download to older versions if there is any schema changes or equivalent.
The most common use for such a module would be someone who chooses to reinstall FreePBX from a distribution such as trixbox or possibly others, that have changed module version numbers to higher numbers of their own resulting in the in-ability to pull down the FreePBX versions. For example, tribox often changes some modules to version 5.x.x.x and a fresh install of the freepbx tarball will result in any such modules not being accessible today.
It's also possible that someone has corrupted their existing module and needs to just force install it again which will both download the fresh code form the server and re-run the install script.
