Need "Asterisk Inbound Dial command cptions"

Description

Ideally FreePBX should have "Asterisk Inbound Dial command options" as well as "Asterisk Dial command options" and "Asterisk Outbound Dial command options" as it is desirable to have a different set of options if a call originates outside the system instead of within it.

Yes, I agree, three sets of dial commands, internal (to internal), outbound, and inbound. Internal calls need to be able to transfer from either party (for example), outbound calls need to be able to tranfer from the originator, but not the reciever (for example), and vice-versa for inbound calls.

I've been thinking about this, and I don't think it's _really_ all that neccesary - what exactly do you want to do 'different' between internal and external calls?

(Because your SIP phones should be doing the transfer, as tracy mentioned above.. The only thing I can think of is call length limits?)

I think tracy has a good reason. I myself have needed this already. You, for example, may want to set dial options to "wt", "WT", or "wtWT", independently, in each of the three cases: in-in, in-out and out-in (not necessarilly in that order, I always mess those letters).

In General Settings, Dialing Options, we now have Asterisk Dial command options and Asterisk Outbound Dial command options - does that meet the criteria to fulfill this request?

Unfortunately, no. If we set the dial command options "T", then any outside caller can transfer call to any number outside the PBX. If this option is not set, the local caller can not transfer the local call to another extension.
