Now that we have proper RTL support in the gui, lets translate the gui! Pick a module and update the ticket with your contribution.
First, make sure that the module you want to work on wasn't claimed by anyone else. Then add a comment to this ticket that you are working on the module.
To translate a file, grab the <modulename>.po file for the module from here and translate. You will find the file under <modulename>/i18n/he_IL/LC_MESSAGES/<modulename>.po. Ignore modules that begin with fw_
Here is an example:
msgid "Restore VoiceMail Files"
msgstr "שחזר קבצי תא קולי"
When done, you only need to upload the <modulename>.po!
If you would like to test your work, compile it like (on linux):
msgfmt <modulename>.po -o <modulename>.mo
service httpd restart
