Description

The window that pops up when editing a configuration file is improperly sized. As a result, the scroll bars do not appear. On a small screen, it's very difficult to re-size the window to find the scroll bars.

I need to know the version number of endpoint manager. Freepbx versions are unhelpful

Replying to tm1000:

Sorry about that. I am running endpoint manager version: 2.9.2.9 The screenshot is from Firefox nightly build. The same thing happens in IE 9 and Firefox 7.0.1

I also attached a screen shot.

Whats your screen resolution and yes I see that in your screen shot However I have scroll bars. In all of the browsers I am using.

My screen res is: 1920X1080. There are scroll bars if I manually re-size the window. It's not like the scroll bars are missing, there are there, it's just that I have to re-size the browser window to see them. FWIW I've also tried on my laptop with a res of 1280*1024 and I still have to re-size the window to see the scroll bars.

You should try a newer version of endpoint manager, my textbox was never as big as yours is. But I don't use textareas in the newer version anymore.

Just for clarification my screen res is 1920x1200 and I still can't replicate this issue. But like I said try a newer version

What is the latest version of endpoint manager? I'm running 2.9.2.9 which supposedly is the latest version when I do "Check Online" via the modules section in FreePBX.

11/08/11 01:53:29 changed by tm1000

Unfortunately FreePBX 2.9 is old and I'm no longer developing on it, I develop only on the newest betas. If I continued to develop on 2.9 I would have to maintain two different code sets. So you'll never see an update in FreePBX 2.9 for endpoint manager anymore (unless it's security related).

The good news is that endpoint manager 2.10.x still works on FreePBX 2.6 and higher. You'll just have to get it manually until you upgrade to FreePBX 2.10. Here it is: http://www.the159.com/endpointman/endpointman-2.10.1.2.tgz

BTW if anyone comes here and sees that link above, that is my development server. Stable supported releases will be through mirror.freepbx.org. However at this time we are dealing with backend issues that are preventing me from creating certified packages.

Did this work out?

The new version fixed the issue. Thanks!
