Default directory not working (or I'm doing it wrong)

Description

I opened the previous ticket, I found the option to set the default directory. I have already created my directory and currently the default is set to none. When I change it to the one I created and click submit query it goes back to none and nothing seems to happen. The apply button does not appear and the extension page does not have any option.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug? I checked the log file and can't find anything specific to it.

Seems to be working fine. Feel free to add steps to reproduce, or further explanation if I misunderstood.
