CLID Blacklisting

This is an extreamly powerful feature that no one will ever want to be without again.
This feature allows you to maintain a database of callers you simply dont want to deal with, ever. When you add numbers to the Blacklist database those callers will be matched by Caller ID or ANI information and then diverted from the system to an announcement message.

Example:
http://www.payphone-directory.org/mp3stream.php?mp3=bell/disconnected
This site has many other usefull recordings as well.
http://www.payphone-directory.org/sounds.html

You can manage the messages delivered to the caller from the System Recordings module. (Which one is played?)

Usage

To use the Blacklist you can either enter the numbers in to the database vis the command line the freePBX gui or from the phone.

1) From the command line type: add cli add command here add cli remove command here

2) The easiest way is to dial *32. You then receive a message telling you the number of the last incoming call.
To add it to the blacklist, simply press 1.
If you want to add it manually, just dial *30 and enter the phone number directly from your telephone.
To remove a number from the blacklist, dial *31 and enter the phone number. If you don’t like the codes you can change them from the Feature Codes module.

3) Useing the CLID Blacklist module you can add and remove numbers to and from the database as well as view numbers already in the database. This is also the place where you may add additional Blacklist databases. Also keep in mind that a blacklist can also be used as a whitelist, if you setup a blacklist to send all callers to an extension, ring group, call queue or IVR you can have a list of callers that will recive priorty attention.
