Call Screening/Blacklisting
Implemented, no longer relevant
There is still a debate on how to/if this should even be implemented. Please add to the below and discuss on this page to figure things out.
Pros
- Can use a feature code to add last number to blocked calls list
- If you, for some reason, have a huge list of blocked calls, it doesn't clutter up your inbound routing list
Cons
- CID-based routing can already be done in inbound routing
- Another place that controls inbound routing that may be confusing (ie, a call won't complete due to being in the blacklist, but this wouldn't be obvious looking at the inbound routing GUI)
- May be hard to tie in astdb-based blacklist with inbound routing pattern matching
