The FreePBX Project is happy to announce the arrival of a long requested class, Linux for FreePBX Administrators.

The week long course will teach Linux skills needed to administer FreePBX systems.  Including how to log into and manage all aspects of Linux based PBX systems. The class is designed for the system administrator with little to no experience. This is an entry-level course, however minimal computer knowledge is needed.

Attendees will learn basic Linux skills such as CLI administration, config file editing, managing user/group permissions as well as advanced topics such as scripting and system automation, complex disk partitioning, and advanced network configurations. The class will also cover FreePBX specific skills such as basic and advanced installation methods, interfacing with existing systems, PBX monitoring and reporting and of course troubleshooting of common PBX specific problems.
